                                  THANK YOU'S...

  • Hi Scott,

Just a note to thank you so much for the BEAUTIFUL ceremony music on 6/4/05 at the Elizabethan Gardens. As I was crossing the gardens behind the guests to get in the "wedding line-up", I could hear how perfect it was. Thank you so much for playing such wonderful prelude music and such lovely music throughout. It was so fantastic. We can't say enough thanks...we just loved it!!!It was a pleasure and real ease to work with you. Thanks again. You helped make our day as perfect as it was.

    Thanks, Nicole & Calvin Cornish

  • Hi Scott,

Thanks for all your extra efforts over the wedding week and ceremony. The fact that you drove down to Hatteras Village helped me out a great deal during the craziness of the celebration week! It was also fun to have a private little concert in the beach house. : ) I also heard that you played a little extra to fill in the time while people were waiting for me to arrive....which is greatly appreciated. The music was beautiful and was perfect for the setting of a church on the water. We just sent out your final payment today. It was a pleasure meeting you and we hope to see you playing out around the Nags Head area!

    cheers,

    Lauren & Billy - October 2005

ps. I would love to give a copy of your CD to my videographer if you

didn't give him one already! Thanks....

  • Dear Scott-
I have been meaning to write you a hand-written note, but just haven't found the time.  This weekend we are celebrating our wedding for the 2nd time around, for our local friends in family in Pennsylvania- I still haven't 'caught up' from our trip to the OBX.
I think of you so often & will forever remember you & your talent.  I cannot be thankful enough that you were available at the last minute to come to Pine Island to play for our wedding & reception.  Your talent is so beautiful & made our wedding day so much more special & memorable than I could have ever imagined.  I was actually in 'awe' so many times during our reception over your performance.
Our families were equally impressed & entertained.
From what I understand, you stayed past your payment which was so very sweet of you & so appreciated.  I was glad to see you stay & chat & enjoy the evening a bit- your company was enjoyed by all.
Your calmness & friendly personality made me feel like you were an old friend.  Steve & I will most definitely seek you out on our next visit to OBX & cannot wait to hear you play again.
This weekend we are having a DJ at our wedding reception...and I'm so disappointed- I wish we could have thought to ask you up to PA.
Our wedding day was as perfect as a girl could dream up...thanks to you, playing a very special part.
I will email you our on-line photo album, in case you are interested in seeing the pictures.
I owe Larry Swain a huge thank-you for recommending you!
Take care & best wishes for all you do...our friends think you should go pro.
    Much appreciation & respect,
    Kye

  • Thank you so much for playing the guitar at out wedding. I know things became a bit crazy during the storm, but you didn’t miss a beat. I wish I had time to thank you personally for everything you have done, your flexibility was my saving grace. I am still getting compliments for your music – so I will pass them along to you.
Beautiful, Calming, Romantic, Loved the Pink Floyd, Great music for mingling.     Thanks again and I hope to hear you play next time we are down. I wish you the best and enjoyed every minute working with you.

  • Scott,
Scott & I just wanted to thank you for being a part of our wedding day.  We had several guests comment on how great you sounded.

  • We hope this letter finds you well, happy and coping the recent turn of events in the USA and around the world. We have just recently returned from our honeymoon trip to Alaska and wanted to write you to tell you again how much we enjoyed you and your music at our fun "wedding on the beach." We very much appreciate the fact that you had to "fudge" it because of my tardiness at the Chapel and that you did it so well. I apologize again, and was so glad we had chosen you for our musician. Everyone in attendance loved you and your music. It was all "just right" and couldn’t have been nicer. Thanks for learning Paul Stokey’s "Hawaiian Wedding Song," you did a great job with it. If you ever record it, we hope you let us know, we’d like a copy. Anyway, you do a fine job, and we would highly recommend you to anyone who wanted to hire you. We wish you the best of luck and much success. Thanks so much,
Sincerely Joyce and Frank Paxton     October 2001

  • This is the bride that you played for in the Elizabethan Gardens on Saturday, May 5th. Do you remember me? I never said thank you for that day. You were excellent! We could not have made a better choice. The classical guitar was in my dream wedding for many years. I thought that it would be impossible, but you were there and made it all work. You were superb to work with. Picking the music went really smoothly. The best man, Kris, just loved walking out to Pink Floyd. Great suggestion!!
Just wanted to drop you a note.

  • Thank you so much for making our wedding so memorable. Our guests are still talking about the great music. Thanks also for learning "These Are The Days" (Van Morrison) for us. We couldn't have asked for a better day!      Love, Angie and Dave  July 2003

  • Thank you for sharing your time and talent to make our wedding day so special. Whenever we remember this day and all it means to us, we'll also remember how much your music added to the beauty of our wedding.   Tad and Sarah    June 2003

  • Scott,
Thank you so much for coming to play on Tuesday at the "impromptu" wedding ceremony. Your music was perfect...and we so appreciate your flexibility in changing your plans. Kerri just called this morning to say that she does not want to repeat the ceremony on Saturday regardless of the weather. Things were just too perfect to try to repeat. Again, thank you for the wonderful music.
